Let’s cook!

Many of you may have realized the uniqueness of our nutritional needs. There are differences even from day to day! But there are common elements that make a diet suitable and apply to all of us. Less processed foods, avoiding overeating or malnutrition, not consuming soft drinks, reducing caffeine, adequate hydration, variety in meal ingredients, good chewing and stability at mealtimes are some of the things that when we follow, we keep our body and our digestive system strong.

How does cooking turn into meditation? Conscious cooking and conscious nutrition. We connect better with our food and the ingredients can be absorbed more easily. It is important to remember that our emotions are passed on to the food and this greatly affects the result. Cooking turns into a pleasant process of self-care. Take a few moments and connect, watch your meal. Admire the colors and smells that met to nourish you!

Bon appetit!

Find a quiet place, close your cell phone or whatever distracts you and dedicate these minutes to yourself. You can practice this meditation while you are cooking. Enjoy!
